Yes! The next golf event will be held at Oak Hills Golf Club, Columbia, on Friday, October 1. Please see our Charity Events page for details as they become available. Future events may be shared with other charitable organizations, such as Harvest Hope, Sharing God's Love (Irmo), etc.

First of all, we get most of our patient referrals from free clinics, health clinics, hospitals, etc., but we will also take referrals from individuals who know people in need. Just email us the person's name and how to contact them, or your name and contact information if you prefer. You can also call 803-622-7827 any time, or fax information to 803-794-8457. More and more of our referrals are coming from people like you, those who know someone in need.

ALL referrals will go through a verification process. Even though insurance isn't involved, the charity has guidelines required of it to maintain its charitable status. Personal referrals will still need a doctor's order to receive their equipment. If the patient doesn't have a regular physician, we will make an effort to get them in front of someone who can verify their condition and need.

A lot of people, for example those on Medicaid, can't afford things that insurance won't purchase, for example bathroom equipment, ramps for home or car, etc. We will provide those items because they meet both criteria: inability to pay and insurance won't cover the item.

The goal of the charity at its outset has been to help the uninsured throughout the state of South Carolina. At this time, we are struggling to cover the Greater Columbia area simply because of time, costs and manpower restraints. As the charity grows, so will its outreach, ultimately statewide.

We contact churches throughout the state to find a workable date for them and us. We then go about contacting local talent to fill the program. We try to present a variety of music to keep it entertaining. From quartets to bluegrass to barbershop to soloists, our purpose is twofold: to entertain through the spirit of Christ, and to help all those we can.
