We received our IRS Determination Letter in July 2009 verifying us as a 501(c)3

*We have also been certified by the SC Secretary of State's office through 2016*

     MedNeed of SC raises funds for its charitable efforts in a number of different ways. We  run charity golf tournaments and hold gospel concerts in order to raise the funds necessary to provide for the uninsured and indigent. We also work with church  groups and other charities to raise funds. We have grants coming from the Lexington Medical Center's Community Outreach Board, as well as the Sisters of Charity of Providence Hospital. Our referral sources include, but are not limited to, hospitals, free clinics, rural health clinics, home health agencies, the Lt. Governor's Council on Aging, County Recreation and Aging Commissions, and of course word-of-mouth.

We invite other foundations whose interests include community health concerns to support us with your grants as well. Keep in mind that our clients must meet the two criteria of medical necessity and inability to pay.
